Andra Suchy (ann-drah soo-key) grew up on a beef and wheat farm south of Mandan, North Dakota. Andra's parents are folk musicians which gave Andra the opportunity to begin gigging and travelling to folk festivals and concerts performing with her family before she was even in school. She studied classical voice until she graduated from high school, and moved to Minneapolis at 19 years old to continue her singing career. Since then, she has worked with many bands and individuals writing, recording, and performing.

"Patchwork Story" (released independently in August of 2006) is Andra Suchy's (ann-drah soo-key) debut solo CD, although she has been performing, writing and recording in Minneapolis since 1996. Her recording credits include Soul Asylum's "The Silver Lining," The Honeydogs' "10,000 Years" and "Amygdala" among others. She has shared the stage with such artists as The Honeydogs, Dave Pirner, Jonny Lang, Chuck Suchy (her father), Ben Suchy (her brother), Tina Schlieske, Peter Ostroushko, and Jeff Healy to name a few. She was nominated for the Minnesota Music Academy "Female Vocalist Of The Year" in 2004, 2005, and 2006. "Patchwork Story" boasts a world class cast of musicians as well as heartfelt and sincere songwriting.
